Map the game
Lay out puzzles on a canvas and connect what unlocks what. Group them into rooms and zones, add story beats, and attach hint ladders with timing on the game clock.
Cluepath is a planning tool for escape room and haunt designers and builders. Map how your game flows, then plan the hardware that runs it: the controllers, the sensors and outputs, and where each one is wired.
Free during the beta. Open to designers and builders in the United States.
You design the flow on a whiteboard, track props in a spreadsheet, and work out the controller wiring on paper, and none of it stays in step when a puzzle changes. Cluepath keeps the game and the build in the same plan.

Status from idea to installed, estimated solve time, difficulty and notes, so the whole team sees where each puzzle stands.
A library of controller profiles (PLCs with their I/O cards, boards like ESP32 and Arduino, networked I/O) and a step-by-step wizard to add your own from the datasheet.
And if two people edit the same thing, nobody's work is silently overwritten.
I'm part of the team behind 13th Hour Haunted House and Escape Rooms. We've been designing and building rooms for over 10 years, and Cluepath started as the planning tool we wished we had for our own rooms. It's built for designers and builders who need to see every puzzle, prop and clue in one place.

The beta is free and invite-only while we shape the tool with the people who'll use it. Tell us a little about what you build, and we'll be in touch.
We'll email you at when there's a spot for you.
